Interlude: Algernon Blackwood

From time to time I diverge from all-Lovecraft-all-the-time to, uh, well, ME. Heh.

In this case, I'm showing off a little item I picked up a while back - a 1975 'zine by Gerry de la Rees. In the magazine is a picture of Algernon Blackwood showing off a little for a girl in New York.
The caption states: Blackwood in Egypt. British author Algernon Blackwood sent this picture to Florence Perkins in 1920. It was taken in the quaries where the Egyptians cut stone for the pyramids. Blackwood, as a joke, donned Bedouin head-dress for the photograph.
