Hayward Park




Chrispy had posted an image of this park back in November. (By the way, try the search features or the metatags for your own research sometime). It's reshown below.

Dated 20 July 1906


The images are identical, except the postcard from 1908 is colorized with the bench on the walk enhanced slighly.

What's notable is the comment by the writer of the 1908 card: "I walk through here everyday. It's exactly like this."

One suspects that HPL probably walked through here, also.
