On p.60, from ST Joshi, HPL: A Life, it's reported that Susan received $5000 and Lovecraft $2500 from Whipple's estate. I have no idea how to reconcile these tax reports with those reported figures. Was this rental income from the quarry? I just don't know. What's interesting is that Lovecraft's values are higher than Susan's.
