Johnsons Hummocks Sea Food Grill of Providence somewhat after Lovecraft's time period - it appears - but one can imagine his disgust. The Call of Cthulhu and Dagon feature vermin from the sea, and Lovecraft told all of his friends how repulsed he was by creatures and smells of the sea.
