Houdini Exposes The Medium Margery

Chrispy has not forgotten the Lovecraft-Houdini speculation. Houdini was under a great deal of tension and stress. His famous friend, Arthur Conan Doyle was deeply wounded by Houdini and made a messy divorce of the friendship. Houdini did not mean to hurt him, it seems, it was just that the more he investigated, the more he saw people bilked out of millions of dollars.

His major nemesis was Margery, and perhaps after that months long battle, he desired an ally such as Lovecraft?

Here is a rare copy of a book he was working on in 1924.
