Pluto (Yuggoth) Discovered

Lovecraft was influenced by this discovery. It also mentions Percival Lowell.








Original Headlines:

Two (2) COMPLETE ORIGINAL NEWSPAPERs, the Los Angeles Herald (CA) dated March 13 and 15, 1930. The Mar 13 issue has a front page headline: "Find New World in Sky" with the announcement of the discovery of the ninth planet, PLUTO, by astronomers working from the data gathered by astronomer Percival Lowell. The Mar 15 isue has an inside page headline and report that Percival's wife wants the new planet to be named PERCIVAL, after her husband.
