The Fungi Asteroid

My wife found this early stage of a puffball fungi today. It reminded me of the Jupiter moon Io. I photographed it and then used software to superimpose it over a stock shot of Jupiter. Kind of an interesting effect...an asteroid with a torn surface, like Io, floating over Jupiter. Truly, a fungus among us.
