Yig Report: Tiny Child of Yig?

Yig, the half-human father of serpents, is a shunned and feared ... The Curse of Yig, Lovecraft and Bishop.

The world's smallest species of snake, with adults averaging just under four inches in length, has been identified on the Caribbean island of Barbados.

The snake named Leptotyphlops carlae, as thin as a spaghetti noodle, is resting on a US quarter. Blair Hedges, professor of biology at Penn State University, discovered the species and determined that it is the smallest of the more than 3,100 known snake species.

Hey Chrispy:
I do believe a rival for your children of Yig would be the black daughter of Yig "Ramphotyphlops braminus," The Brahminy Blind Snake. These little girls are generally all under 5" in length (I do nelieve I found a giant at 5 inches one time) and are parthenogenic. Yig left them to populate the world even were they to be separated. Their dispersal is limitless in the teperate regions of this world. they are the eyes and ears of Yig, the size and appearance of pencil lead. Watch for them under a log near you. they are coming.
