The letter is written in two pages on Quarto. Hana comments that, "The letter paper looks as thick as Crane's paper (notice no bleedthrough, even though he wrote on both sides of the paper with a fountain pen..." She adds that the "crease looks just like the ones I get on thicker paper" with a waterman pen. She has rarely seen "a Crane's legal sized (8.5" x 14") paper. "
We would both appreciate any additional comments on this subject.

I am delighted to hear that you were not disappointed in 'The Whisperer', & I hope I can grind out some more things of the sort during the ensuing months. Derleth says that Wandrei - with whom he is in close touch nowadays - wants to borrow it during its presence in the Twin Cities, & it will be interesting to see what they think of it.
