Lovecraft, / 598 Angell St, / Providence, R. I." typed at the upper left corner of the first sheet, the street address overwritten to 66 College" in Lovecraft's hand (May 1933 or after). Undated, but circa late 1923. A circulating copy with "please return" in pencil at to left corner of first leaf. ... The manuscript is {said to be} typed on cheap pulp paper stock which is frayed at edges, quite age-darkened, and delicate at the folds, several leaves with tape repairs to versos.
