Thank You ...

... for being loyal readers of the archives in my prolonged absence.

The day job has been very intense and yet I am brimming over with new ideas for the blog.

Keep the faith, and I'll back soon with more postcard history, exclusive HPL associated ephemera and anecdotes you won't find elsewhere. I'm working on new Homage, Mythos and King in Yellow stories, too. Stay tuned.

Best Regards,
Chrispy!!

Have you analyzed how much time this labor of love takes?

I'm nothing if not analytic. It averages an hour per post, including reading the texts, or scanning in historic documents, or just ruminating baout what will interest people. I believve there are 250+ posts so I've done about 250 hours or so this year on the blog. Photos are the hardest, and they tend to take about 10% longer than plain text, but as you can tell, I do a lot of pix. I crop, enlarge, and format for the best resolution.

I almost never refer link, becuase invariably a web site will delete something and leave a hole. This happened with Peter Worthy's Mythos project, and I never got an update on the site location.
