Lovecraft Letter in Phantagraph (1935)

This issue is alleged to contain a copy of HPL's letter of praise.

Lovecraft once wrote of the Phantagraph, "Just received the new Phantagraph, poorly printed by Wilson Shepherd. Wolheim thinks the feud between you (Robert Barlow) and Shepherd can be smoothed out if the two of you comparenotes. Shepherd thinks you've failed to return something to him which was coming to him. {This involved misunderstandings of the trading of pulp magazines between the two.)

O Fortunate Floridian, pp. 117-119.
