Providence: Lovecraft's Life

Lovecraft would have been about 16 years old in 1906, too young to vote. However, the political campaign would have probably intrigued his youthful sensitivities.

The seller states: Campaign Postcard for Daniel L.D. Granger of Providence Rhode Island, who was running for a third term as a Member of Congress in 1906. Condition is very good with minor corner wear and a faint corner crease at bottom left, used from Providence with a machine cancel in 1906. Granger was a former City Treasurer and Mayor of Providence, and had already served two terms in Congress from the First Congressional District.
